Our Story

Hey there,

I’m so glad that you are here! I am a wife and mama to our boys Rhodes and Watson, a little girl on the way, Ruthie, and our pup, June. I have always been drawn to art and interior design. This new passion blends all of the little hobbies that I love i.e. picking out fabric, drawing, and painting. I hope, after experiencing this fun process, you will cherish this new spin on silhouettes as much as I do.

Before & Afters

Tips for taking a side profile picture

  1. Take the picture while your child is distracted with TV/playing. The background can be anything (no judgement here if there is laundry, food, etc. in the background).

  2. Take the photo at eye level with your child facing directly forwards (not looking down or up).

  3. Make sure only one side of his/her face is showing.

  4. Try to have their mouth in a relaxed position rather than smiling and their hair should be how you want it in the picture.

  5. You can always take a live picture or video and screen shot from there as well!

Examples

NOT WHAT WE WANT—

In this example, two sides of the face are showing, which is not what we want.
